#BENEBABE

So as a new to the seen blogger, I decided to start with some products that are extremely close to my heart and am therefore dedicating my first personal blog post to the ever faithful, Benefit. For years I envied the girls that were lucky enough to wear Benefit make up and as expected when my time came I grasped it tightly and have yet to let go! I recently received some Love to Shop vouchers from work and my first stop was boots to grab the Benefit goodies on my must-have wishlist.

My first buy was the new hydrating crease control concealer, Fake Up, I must admit that as a devotee to Boing, I was a little apprehensive to try this innovative concealer, however the feminine lipstick style packaging complete with a decorative pink swirl, soon won me over and I was ready to uncover the secrets of the moisturising concealer I had heard so much about.

At first glance, it is nothing like your average concealer, whether you're used to applying with a brush like Boiing or used to stick concealer, Fake up definitely defies the norm. With a central concealer framed with a clear hydrating moisturiser, this unique formula promises coverage and hydration, and if you're anything like me, there is nothing worse than trying to cover that god awful blemish and ending up with a dry and rather ugly looking mess, which to be honest, can be the result of some concealers.

I first applied Fake Up over my regular BB cream (which i'll fill you guys in on later), with the moisturiser, concealer combo proving to be a bonus from first application as they mix together to form a clean and smooth finish. I applied the Fake Up by sweeping underneath my eyes and of course on those troublesome areas and gently blended with a concealer brush. The result under my eyes was amazing, and if like me you have the occasional tired eye to cover, the hydrating crease control really stands out, as the concealer does not creep into those teeny tiny lines under our eyes, even after a full day at work! If you're looking for full coverage, you may need a touch of Boiing over the top or your regular foundation just to ensure those spots are well and truly hidden! However for a healthy looking concealer that is sure not to dry out your skin, Fake Up is definitely the one for you and it will  certainly be a regular feature in my make up bag, even if i'm not quite ready to say goodbye to my trusty Boiing!

My second purchase was Sugar Bomb, again I have been an avid Coralista fan up until now, but fancied a blush with more of a summery pink hue and for me, Sugar Bomb was perfect! With a mixture of bronzer, pink bluch, coral blush and shimmer, this light blusher gives an injection of summer flare to your make up. As well as this, I am a huge fan of contouring and adding a dash of Sugar Bomb to the apple of your cheeks, and down the bridge of your nose really creates a natural and highlighting make up style.

My final purchase was the one, the only, They're real, I LOVE this mascara and ever since my convert last year, it is safe to say I was swept of my feet and haven't dared to go back. This lengthening mascara creates the look of false lashes by thickening and lengthening your natural lash. Another bonus for me, is the no smudging, no panda eyes or no pesky top smudges! I really cannot rate this mascara enough, which is why i'll let the pictures do the talking...
